Fira Basuki's Novel

 My hobby is reading. Almost all the novels that have good qualities I have read. Such as literature, romance, and ordinary novel. One of my favorite author is Fira Basuki. I love Fira Basuki’s Novel. Biru is my favorite. It is about a high school reunion. This was a special event. Most of the alumni hadn’t met for many years. They were looking forward to seeing each other.

There are seven main characters with distinct professions, they all had different jobs. Aris was the social worker and successful businessman. Anna, the social worker and wife of a rich man, had affair with Aris. Cindy was the famous model who lived abroad. Mario, the guide for outbound programs, had loved Candy since they were in high school. Pura was the taxi driver who became a musician. Lindih and Kira were both married. They were looking forward to seeing each other.

Unfortunately, the big event had to be called off, it wouldn’t take place at all after so much preparation. Aris, the one who planned the reunion, faced an obstacle, a really serious problem. He was involved in corruption and was imprisoned (his cell mates were criminals). Many other alumni couldn’t make it either. Candy died of drug poisoning the night before. She took the wrong medicine for her beauty treatment. Lindin and Kira found out that their husband was the same person. The alumni who came to the venue (it’s in the ballroom of a big hotel) were shocked to hear  the bad news. They didn’t expect the reunion to be cancelled. They didn’t expect to hear such shocking news about their friends.

I hope, this is a good reference for the lovers of the novel. And hopefully the readers get a lesson from what they read.
